I had a small blank canvas and I was itching to use it! I wanted something to add to my summer decoration along with our first seashells we picked up at the beach last weekend. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough for swimming but my girls loved our shell hunt! Here's what I did with the canvas :
Είχα εναν λευκό καμβά και ήθελα εδω και καιρό να κάνω κάτι με αυτόν! Χρειαζόμουν κάτι για να αλλάξω λίγο την διακόσμηση ως προς το πιο καλοκαιρινό (μήπως αλλάξει και η διάθεση!) και είχα και τα πρώτα μου κοχυλάκια που μαζέψαμε το Σαββατοκύριακο. Ο καιρός φυσικά δεν ήταν για μπάνιο αλλά με τα κορίτσια περάσαμε πολύ ωραία ψάχνοντας για κοχύλια!
I used oil based colours just because I didn't have any blue acrylics on hand but I don't reccomend using them for this project. They take forever to dry!
Χρησιμοποίησα λαδομπογιές απλά επειδή τις είχα αλλα αν δεν εχετε υπομονή (όπως εγώ) καλύτερα να μην το κάνετε γιατι αργούν πάρα πολυ να στεγνώσουν!
The fun part was mixing the colours to create different shapes of blue. I used blue and a dap of white, lots of white and a dap of blue to create really light blue and added some yellow in the mix to make a green-ish blue almost turquoise. First I did my tests on a piece of paper.
Το πιο διασκεδαστικό ήταν να ανακατεύω τα χρώματα για να φτιάξω τις διάφορες αποχρώσεις του μπλε. Μπλέ με λίγο λευκό, πολυ λευκό και λίγο μπλε για να γίνει γαλάζιο και λίγο κίτρινο για να βγάλετε τυρκουαζ. Πρώτα έκανα δοκιμές σε χαρτι.
I then very carefully made some strokes on the canvas. This would be enough for some people but I just had to add some glitter in the mix! I'm not sure if you can see it in the picture but I added some light blue glitter on the light blue brush stroke.

Μετά πολυ προσεκτικά έκανα βουρτσιές στον καμβά μου. Εκεί θα μπορούσα να είχα τελειώσει αλλά έπρεπε να βάλω και λίγο γκλίτερ! Δεν ξερω αν φαίνεται στη φωτογραφία αλλά έβαλα λίγο γαλάζιο γκλίτερ στη γαλάζια βουρτσιά.
