DIY Iridescent beaded necklace in 6 easy steps!

Remember I told you I'm going over my stash and slowly making stuff I've been postponing? Well this project is one of them! This project is also a good opportunity to motivate you to start making jewelry since it's ideal for beginners! So let's see my step-by-step instructions on how to make a simple beaded necklace with amazing iridescent drop beads!

Θυμάστε που σας είπα ότι αποφάσισα επιτέλους να φτιάξω τα κοσμήματα που συνεχως αναβάλω τελευταια? Λοιπόν αυτό το κολιέ είναι ενα απο αυτα! Επιπλέον είναι μια καλη ευκαιρία να σας εμπνεύσω να φτιάξετε κοσμήματα αν δεν έχετε ξαναφτιάξει μιας και είναι ιδανική κατασκευή για αρχάριους! Πάμε να δούμε λοιπόν πως να φτιάξετε ένα εύκολο κολιέ με ιριδίζουσες χάντρες και αλυσίδα?

Here are my materials :
-Chain
-metallic beads
-iridescent drop beads
-wire for jewelry
-crimp beads
-lobster clasp
-jumprings

Τα υλικά που χρησιμοποίησα :
-Αλυσίδα διακριτική
-μεταλλικές χάντρες
-ιριδίζουσες χάντρες
-ατσαλόσυρμα για κοσμήματα
-στοπάκια
-κούμπωμα "παπαγαλάκι"
-κρικάκια

First, take a piece of the jewelry wire and thread a crimp bead and then slide the bead at one end of your chain.

Πρώτα πάρτε ένα κομμάτι ατσαλόσυρμα, περάστε ένα στοπάκι και περάστε το στη μια πλευρά της αλυσίδας.

Now bring the wire back forming a loop that will connect the chain with the wire. Make the loop as small as possible (meaning you have to pull the wire) but be careful not to pull it too tight, the loop has to be visible.

Τώρα φέρτε το σύρμα πίσω σχηματίζοντας μια θηλειά για να ενώσετε το σύρμα με την αλυσίδα. Φτιάξτε τη θηλειά αρκετά μικρή ώστε να είναι όμορφη στο μάτι αλλά μην την κάνετε τόσο μικρή ώστε να μην φαίνεται κιόλας (Δεν πρέπει να είναι πολύ σφιχτό!).

With your flat-nose pliers press the crimp bead in place to secure and cut any excess wire.

Με την πένσα σας πατήστε το στοπάκι για να ασφαλίσει και κόψτε όσο σύρμα περισσεύει.

Start threading the beads creating this pattern.

Περάστε τις χάντρες στο σύρμα.

When you are satisfied with the pattern, close the other end of the wire and connect it with the other side of the chain as you did the first time (using crimp beads).

Όταν τις περάσετε ενώστε την αλλη άκρη της αλυσίδας με το σύρμα με ένα στοπάκι όπως ακριβώς το κάνατε πριν.

Cut the piece of chain in the middle and measure it to determine how long you want it. Attach a lobster clasp and a jumpring and your necklace is ready!

Κόψτε την αλυσίδα στη μέση και μετρήστε το κολιέ για να κανονίσετε το μήκος που θέλετε να έχει. Βάλτε στη μια άκρη ένα κρικάκι και στην άλλη το κούμπωμα χρησιμοποιώντας πάλι κρικάκι. Το κολιέ είναι έτοιμο!
