I've recently purchased some supplies at ebay and I was very eager to use them and craft! The feathers I used were an impulse purchase but I really loved their colour so I just had to make something with them! This was an idea I saw at pinterest a while ago, a feather hair tie!

Here's what I've used :
Apart from the beautiful feathers, I used some thin elastic cord, 2 beads with big holes, 2 cord ends that fold over and a pair of pliers.

Να τι χρησιμοποίησα : εκτός απο τα φτερά, λίγο λάστιχο, 2 χαντρες με μεγάλη τρύπα, 2 ακροδέκτες απο αυτούς που τους πατάς για να κλείσουν και μια πένσα.
You can see at the following picture what the ends look like.
Βλέπετε σε αυτη τη φωτο ποιοί είναι οι "ακροδέκτες" :
With the help of your pliers, crimp the ending on the tip of the feather and secure. Cut a piece of cord.
Με τη βοήθεια της πένσας κλείστε τους ακροδέκτες στην άκρη του φτερου.
Thread the bead into the cord and then the feather.
Περάστε τη χάντρα στο κορδόνι και μετα το φτερό.
Make a tight knot and then cover the knot with the bead. Cut the excess, repeat for the other side of the cord and you are done!
Κάντε έναν γερό κόμπο και περάστε τη χάντρα πάνω του να τον κρύψει. Κόψτε ότι περισσεύει, επαναλάβετε στην άλλη πλευρά και τελειώσατε!
To wear them wrap it around your hair several times and then make one or two tight knots.
I'm really happy with the result and planning on wearing it a lot! It's so boho chic!
Για να το φορέσετε τυλίξτε το κάμποσες φορές γυρω γυρω απο τα μαλλιά σας και κάντε έναν ή δυο σφιχτούς κόμπους. Μου άρεσε πολύ και έχω σκοπό να το φοράω συχνά! Είναι πολύ "boho chic"!

Πρόσφατα αγόρασα κάποια υλικά στο ebay και είχα αγωνία να τα χρησιμοποιήσω! Τα φτερά που χρησιμοποίησα τα αγόρασα χωρίς να το πολυ-σκεφτώ για το υπέροχο χρώμα τους! (άλλωστε τα πήρα κάτω από 0,50ε!) Τελικά ήταν τα τέλεια φτερά για να φτιάξω ένα λαστιχάκι για τα μαλλιά! Την ιδέα την είχα δει στο pinterest αρκετό καιρό πριν!
