This was my first attempt with rhinestones and I really liked how it turned out!

Materials :
-imitation leather metallic rose gold cord appr. half a meter but it depends on the length you want your necklace to have.
-3 settings with loop for pear rhinestone 25x18mm
-3 pear rhinestones in salmon pink color 25x18mm 
-4 settings with loop for pear rhinestone 18x13mm
-4 pear rhinestones in light pink 18x13mm
-rose gold chain 
- 6 filligree leaf pendants 14x23mm
-2 bronze endcaps for 6mm cord
-1 set of hook clasps
- jumprings
-gold metallic thin cord (not pictured)

Αυτή ήταν η πρώτη φορά που χρησιμοποίησα κρεμαστά κρύσταλλα και το αποτέλεσμα δεν με απογοήτευσε καθόλου!

First I started by placing the rhinestones on their settings. It's actually easier than I thought, you just have to push their prongues gently with your pliers to secure the rhinestone.


Αρχικά έπρεπε να βάλω τα κρύσταλλά μου στις βάσεις τους. Δεν ήταν όσο δύσκολο νόμιζα, απλά χρησιμοποιώντας την πένσα μου πίεσα τις ακρούλες τους και ασφάλισα το κρύσταλλο.




Then I cut the cord and the chain to even pieces. Using 2 jumprings I attached the chain to the cord. The jumprings are just to help the chain stay put while I braid it, I took them off at the end.

Έπειτα έκοψα ίσα κομμάτια από το κορδόνι μου και από την αλυσίδα. Χρησιμοποιώντας 2 κρικάκια ένωσα την αλυσίδα με το κορδόνι. Τα κρικάκια είναι βοηθητικά, στο τέλος τα έβγαλα.




I left a piece of the chain in the middle and cut the rest. Then I took the gold cord, secure it with a loop and slide it through chain and cord so that they are tied together. 

Άφησα αλυσίδα μόνο στο κέντρο του κορδονιού μου και έκοψα την υπόλοιπη. Έπειτα πήρα ένα λεπτότερο κορδόνι και έκανα με αυτό έναν κόμπο ενώνοντας την αλυσίδα με το κορδόνι.




I continued this until the end and did a loop there to secure it too. I also used a dab of glue on both of the loops and tacked them at the back so they were not visible.

Συνέχισα να πλέκω με το κορδόνι μου την αλυσίδα με τη δερματίνη και στο τέλος έκανα έναν διπλό κόμπο ακόμα. Έβαλα λίγη κόλλα στους κόμπους μου και τους έκρυψα έτσι στην πίσω πλευρά του κολιέ.




Now it was time to start attaching my charms and rhinestones. To figure out my design I started by placing a big rhinestone right in the middle.


Επειτα ήταν η ώρα να κρεμάσω τα κρύσταλλα και τα φυλλα. Για να ξεκινήσω έβαλα ένα μεγάλο κρύσταλλο στη μέση.




Then I placed some more rhinestones like this :

Έπειτα συνέχισα με τα υπόλοιπα κρύσταλλα έτσι :




Finally it was time for my leaves! I really liked the way these leaves compliment the rhinestones. 

Τέλος κρέμασα τα φύλλα ανάμεσα. Μου άρεσε πολύ ο τρόπος που "έδεσαν" τα φύλλα με τα κρύσταλλα.




For the clasp I used some beautiful hook clasps that I attached to the endcaps and glued to the cord.

Τα κουμπώματα μπήκαν πάνω στους ακροδέκτες που κόλλησα στο κορδόνι.


And that's it! My fabulous new necklace is ready! Do you like it? I'm in love! I've been proudly showing off my new necklace everywhere!
