You know I love glitter and Christmas is always a good excuse to go crazy with glitter! When working with glitter though things can be quite... messy! This didn't bother me in the past but now it does! It bothers me because I don't have the time to clean up afterwards and if the girls come to play with glitter too then you can understand what will happen! So today I'm showing you a way to make glitter statement rings without the mess!
These glitter clay rings are so much fun, ideal for all the Christmas and New year's eve's parties!
Εντάξει μάλλον εχετε καταλάβει ότι μου αρέσει πολύ να χρησιμοποιώ glitter και ειδικά τα Χριστούγεννα! Όταν δουλεύεις με glitter όμως τα πράγματα μπορεί να γίνουν πολύ χάλια! Αυτός ο χαμός μπορεί να μη με ενοχλούσε παλιότερα αλλά τώρα πια με ενοχλεί! Με ενοχλεί γιατι δεν εχω τον χρόνο να καθαρίσω μετά και αν ανακατευτούν και τα κορίτσια καταλαβαίνετε τι θα γίνει! Έτσι σήμερα θα σας δείξω εναν τρόπο να φτιάξετε δαχτυλίδια glitter χωρίς το χαμό με πηλό! Έχουν τόσο πλάκα αυτα τα δαχτυλίδια και είναι τέλεια για τα Χριστουγεννιάτικα και Πρωτοχρονιάτικα πάρτυ!
Best thing is you don't need jewelry making skills to make them. You just need air-dry clay, glitter pencil paint, glue and a ring base (the ones that have a flat space to glue things on). First I made some balls with my clay and let them dry overnight. You can make them smaller, just make sure one side of the ball is a bit flatter so it can be glued to the base easily.
Και δεν χρειάζεστε ειδικές γνώσεις κατασκευής κοσμημάτων! Χρειάζεστε απλά αυτο-ξηρούμενο πηλό, βαφή glitter σε στυλό, κόλλα και μια βάση δαχτυλιδιών (μια βάση που εχει μια επίπεδη επιφάνεια ιδανική για να κολλάς οτιδήποτε επάνω).
Πρώτα έκανα μερικές μπάλες με τον πηλό και τις άφησα να στεγνώσουν όλο το βράδυ. Μπορείτε να κάνετε τις μπάλες μικρότερες (εγω μάλλον το παράκανα!) αρκεί να κάνετε λίγο πιο επίπεδη τη μια τους πλευρά για να κολλήσουν ευκολότερα.
Now it's time to paint them! I'm using this glitter pen you see in the picture. When you apply it it's like the golden one you see in the front but once it dries it's like the silver one on the back. No glitter comes off to your hands, it's amazing!
Ώρα να τις βάψετε! Χρησιμοποίησα αυτό το "στυλό" glitter που βλέπετε στη φωτο (το βρίσκετε σε μεγάλο πολυκατάστημα). Πριν στεγνώσει είναι όπως βλέπετε το χρυσό αλλά μόλις στεγνώσει γίνετε τέλειο! (δείτε το ασημί πίσω). Δεν βγάζει glitter μετα καθόλου!
Once the glitter dries up it's time to glue it on the ring base. You need a very strong glue or a glue gun maybe will do.
Μόλις στεγνώσει με μια πολύ ισχυρή κόλλα κολλήστε το στη βάση.
